This Pearl Powder is "Levigated," meaning it is micro-ground to a fine consistency for optimal absorption. We responsibly source it from sustainable freshwater farms. The levigation method involves grinding high-quality pearl in water using a circular motion until the fine particles become suspended. The heavier particles are removed, and the process is repeated to isolate only the finest suspended pearl powder. Once dried, this levigated Pearl Powder becomes an ultra-fine, nearly nano-sized powder that is easy for the body to absorb.*
