Mayan black salt is a special ingredient, as it is still considered sacred by the Maya. It was one of the earliest commodities of the ancient Maya, as it was harvested along riverbeds and transported to other communities. The salt is collected using centuries-old methods passed down through families in the highlands of Guatemala. It is a rigorous and ancient process, only practiced by a few now. It is used in the soap to give a nice, foamy lather and gentle exfoliate. It is combined in this soap with eucalyptus which the Mayans used in their temezcals (a type of sauna) to help clear the air and breathing.
The ingredients that make a difference
LAVENDER
Since lavender has antifungal properties and reduces inflammation, it can help keep eczema at bay. Lavender oil can also be used to treat psoriasis. The lavender oil helps cleanse your skin and lessen redness and irritation.
EUCALYPTUS
Eucalyptus oil and extract may help strengthen the skin's natural moisture barrier. I Like many other oils, it helps trap water in the skin, which can help prevent and relieve dryness as well as related symptoms, like flaking and irritation.

How to use it
Morning & Night
The soap create a beautiful light foam that lathers and moisturizes hands. Simply rub between wet hands until hands feel clean. Some of our soaps contain gentle exfoliants that you may feel when cleansing. Great for hands and body.
