Christina Ramirez is a mission driven Founder who launched PLUS ULTRA in December of 2012 in Los Angeles, CA. PLUS ULTRA means “further beyond” in Latin and is the national motto of Spain. Christina wanted to pay homage to her grandfather and Spanish family roots. Today, PLUS ULTRA is the mantra we’ve adopted to inspire innovation and forward thinking. Christina’s vision was to create practical products that were plastic-free, good for the planet and better for you. Christina combined her passion for the environment with her knowledge and experience working in the natural products industry to pioneer a completely new category in the US Market: eco-friendly personal care. She developed the highest quality products with dentists and professionals and has her finger on the pulse for what’s next in the eco-friendly space.
